Which cookies we use

This website uses a single cookie, a technical first-party cookie that remembers the language you chose.

The cookie is set only when you choose a language with the language selector. If you have never chosen a language, the website uses your browser's preferred language: if it is Italian, you are taken to the Italian version; with any other language, to the English version. If your browser does not indicate any language, we show you a page where you can choose one. No cookie is stored in this step, and the language is worked out again on every visit.

No analytics, no third parties. We do not use profiling cookies, analytics cookies or any other tracking technology. The website does not load third-party content or services that set cookies.

Legal basis and consent exemption. The lang cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly requested: showing the website in the language you chose. Under Article 122(1) of the Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines of 10 June 2021, it therefore does not require your consent, and we do not show a cookie banner.

How to delete or block it. You can delete the cookie at any time in your browser settings (usually under "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data"). You can also block cookies for this website. The website will still work: on every visit the language will again be chosen from your browser's preferred language, and you will need to use the selector if you want a different one.
